Agentic Economy Layer
Layer 7: Physical Infrastructure as Micron

Micron Technology is one of the world's largest manufacturers of memory and storage semiconductors, producing DRAM, NAND flash, and High Bandwidth Memory (HBM). Micron's products are critical components in AI accelerators, where memory bandwidth and capacity directly determine model training and inference performance.

Micron's HBM (High Bandwidth Memory) chips are stacked directly onto AI accelerators like NVIDIA's H100 and H200 GPUs, providing the massive memory bandwidth required for processing large AI models. As model sizes grow and inference demands increase, HBM has become one of the most supply-constrained components in the AI hardware stack.

Micron occupies a critical position in the physical infrastructure layer — without sufficient high-bandwidth memory, even the most powerful AI chips cannot deliver the performance needed for modern AI workloads.
